Description
Rods is an interactive digital book made up of 31 different parts in which children use rods to visualize mathematical concepts and relations. Every part provides tens or hundreds of different random problems (combinations).
Contents
Number sense, smallest, shortest, largest, longest, smaller, shorter, larger, longer, equal, similar, equality, similarity, inequality, numbers, cardinal number, ordinal number, counting, progression, part-whole, number construction, composition, decomposition, sum, total, number bonds, add, remove, basic arithmetic operations 1-10 and 1-100, number counting strategies 1-10, strategies for mental calculation of adding and subtracting 1-100 with or without adding to ten, multiplication, partitive division and measurement division, division of tens and ones, relations between adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
Children represent these concepts and relations by arranging the colored rods, building ascending or descending stairs of different heights, building trains of the same length with two or more rods and investigating patterns.
We care about the environment
Our digital book Rods protects the environment by representing concrete objects virtually. Today 1,000 students consume about 11 tons of carbon dioxide and 20 trees annually.
System requirements
